Walnut shell is a granular material and polishing abrasive that has been processed through crushing, screening, and other processes, with multiple micropores on the surface and good adsorption effect.

Walnut shell filter material has high hardness, wear resistance, good compression resistance, and a pressure resistance of 23.4KgF. It has stable chemical properties, does not dissolve in acids and alkalis, strong adsorption and interception ability, and an adsorption rate of 27-50%. It has good hydrophilicity and resistance to oil immersion, with a specific gravity of g/cm31.25, slightly higher than water. The filling specific gravity is 0.85g/cm3, which is easy to backwash and regenerate. Compared with other filter materials, its advantages are that it directly uses backwashing before filtering, has low operating costs, and low backwashing strength, (6.71/S. m2), fast filtration rate (24-26/n), good effect. The treatment effect of oily water in oil fields is significant, with oil removal reaching 95% and oil content dropping below 5mg/l.

Walnut shell abrasive is a natural polishing material that does not damage the surface of the workpiece and has a good polishing effect. It has excellent wear resistance, uniform particle size, and high shell content. The walnut shell polishing material is mainly used for polishing and deburring in industries such as eyewear accessories, pearl jewelry, buttons, electronic components, stamping parts, etc. Walnut shell particles with strong compressive strength and particle size ranging from 1.25 to 1.60mm have an average compressive limit of 0.2295KN (23.40kgf). Walnut shell particles with a particle size of 0.80-1.00mm have an average compressive limit of 0.165KN (16.84kgf).
